Kanye West breaks down in Paris...

He's still grieving over his moms... kinda sad

November 18, 2007. MediaTakeOut.com has learned that last night, rapper Kanye West attempted to perform in front of a live audience in Paris, France. And he reportedly broke down on stage.

Here's how French newspaper Le Parisian reports it:

"He said the word, 'Mother' and just couldn't go any further. A back-up singer, the DJ and a guitar player came over to console him. It looked like he might collapse. He just couldn't continue. He just stood there in a spotlight, crying while the band continued playing."

Kanye then reportedly walked off the stage, regained his composure and returned to perform his hit song Stronger

The French paper described his return to the stage as follows:

"He was very nervous, seemed to have gathered himself up, and had a lot of energy. He kept shouting out to the audience, 'I need you... I need you right now.' and the public was screaming back. It was magic."
